Could you benefit from a peaceful space to reflect and explore your thoughts and feelings, where there is someone who is experienced and professionally qualified to guide and support you through the process?My name is Barbara Edelman and I have been a practising privately as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist since 2001. Before this I worked as a Counsellor, and latterly also as a Supervisor, in the voluntary sector, at the Leicester Counselling Centre from 1994 to 2003. During this time I was also a part-time Counsellor with the Leicester and Loughborough University Counselling Services for two and three years respectively.
My psychotherapy practice is based in the village of Sutton Bonington very close to Loughborough but also within easy reach of Nottingham.
I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I work with both individuals and couples, and offer both short-term therapy to an agreed time-limit and long-term open-ended therapy. My aim is to enable you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I have a broad experience in counselling covering a wide range of issues including:
Stress, anxiety, bereavement, loss, depression, abuse, relationships,
emotional problems, self-esteem, and personal growth.
My counselling practice is within easy reach of Loughborough, (15 minutes by car, or by bus from town centre to within 2 minutes walk away), and is easily accessible for many of the surrounding villages such as East Leake, Kegworth, Hathern, and Shepshed. The practice is located a few minutes drive of the Jnct.24 roundabout of the M1, A50 and A6 making travel from Leicester, Derby and south Nottingham easy. The village location has free parking and is a peaceful setting.
